What we don't collect

Every tool on this site processes your input entirely within your own browser using client-side JavaScript. Passwords, text, files, and other input you provide to a tool are never transmitted to, or stored on, our servers.

Exceptions: tools that call a third-party API

A small number of tools (such as the Password Breach Checker) query a trusted third-party API directly from your browser in order to function. In these cases we use privacy-preserving techniques such as k-anonymity so that your full sensitive input is never transmitted, only a partial, non-reversible fragment. These requests go directly from your browser to the named third-party API and are not routed through, or logged by, our own servers.

Analytics and advertising

This site uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns, and may display Google AdSense advertisements. Both may use cookies and similar technologies as described in Google's own privacy policies. You can control cookie behavior through your browser settings.

Local storage

Certain tools (like the Local Password Vault or Secure Note viewer) may store encrypted data in your browser's local storage, on your device only. This data is never transmitted to us and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
